The mystery of the Tjipetir blocks has been solved

tjipetir block is from Indonesia
Tjipetir was the name of a plantation in Sukabumi, West Java indonesia the town is located around 100km west from Bandung and 100km east from Jakarta. As of 2014, marine debris consisting of blocks of what appears to be gutta-percha with the word "TJIPETIR" on them has been found on beaches throughout Europe. They are believed to be coming from one or more sunken ships. The wreck of the RMS Titanic and the wreck of the Miyazaki Maru have both been put forward as potential sources of the blocks.
The word "Tjipetir" or "Cipetir" comes from Sundanese, a language from West Java. It literally means "Thunder River" ("tji" or "ci" means river in Sundanese, while "petir" means thunder in Sundanese and Indonesian).
